Occupy Toronto journal - November 3, 2011

On Wednesday, November 2 at 4pm. Occupy Toronto embarked on a solidarity march in support of Occupy Oakland which was raided on Oct. 25! The march stopped at the intersection of King & Bay St. where a decision was made to march either to the Bank of America, City Hall or the American Embassy. After a compromise, the march proceeded to the American Embassy where bicycle police blocked off the side walk to the entrance which could be considered American Soil. There was a speaker that talked about a General Strike which was in the port of Oakland. Later the march went to City Hall where an open mic was available to participants to speak on local issues. There will be another march on Nov. 5
