LATE NEWS: following a visit to the Cefe by TorontotheBetter colleagues on Friday we are pleased to be able to report that Coffee Works/aka The Anarchist Cafe at 190 Jarvis St (near Dundas) will remain open, ideally as a worker cooperative with the help of TorontotheBetter founder, Libra Knowledge and Infoormation Services Co-op.

On May 1st, TorontotheBetter had heard that a much needed downtown space for creative action and thought in solidarity with first nations and many other allies, at 190 Jarvis (south of Dundas) was slated to close at the end of May 2023 and that we couldhelp to prevent this by showing up and giving Coffee Works more love.
Do it ASAP. Toronto is better for its presence.
